Identify the programme before the number
DuckTales from 2017 and the earlier DuckTales production are not the same series record. A familiar name can also belong to a reboot, sequel or unrelated film. Check the release year and principal characters before comparing season numbers.
Why two services can show different numbering
Short animated stories may be paired into one broadcast episode or listed as separate segments. Specials and split releases can also create differences. Compare the episode title and a brief description when a number alone does not identify what you remember.
Milo Murphy's Law is a useful reminder that a programme slot and an individual story are not always the same unit. Avoid jumping ahead solely because an external service displays a different number. Read enough to recognise the episode without looking up a complete plot summary.
Save the last completed episode
Open the series page, choose a recorded season and enter the last episode you finished. The form limits the number to that season's recorded range. If you stopped halfway through, leave the checkpoint on the previous completed episode and use the viewing service's resume function for the exact minute.
When your plans change
A checkpoint can be cleared or replaced from the same series page. It does not automatically read a provider's playback history. Find all your reminders in My List and use the watch-time calculator when choosing how many episodes fit next time.
